Cleanse and Detox for Gastro-Intestinal Health! 

Digestive Disease and Intestinal Health  

T

here is an old saying that "Death Begins in the Colon." The phrase, while perhaps overly dramatic, becomes more accurate each day regarding our gastro-intestinal health due to current life styles.  In confirmation, Dr. Ilya Mechnikov, 1908 Nobel Laureate, stated, “Up to 90% of all known human illness and disease can be traced back to an unhealthy colon.”

 

Our digestive-elimination organs have suffered decline in function and health due to over-processed, low enzyme, low fiber foods, animal fats (with stored antibiotics), pharmaceutical drug use and abuse, exercise lack and ever-present stress

 

The path to good health begins with the ability of the body to deliver essential nutrients through digestion while removing dangerous toxins and pathogens through the colon.  That goal necessitates proper digestion including intestinal cleansing and detoxification with regular elimination combined with a strong immune system to fight back against what seeks to harm us.

 

Today more than 100 million people suffer digestive and intestinal disorders, responsible for over 50 million physician visits and more hospitalizations than any other category of medical problems in the United States today. The total cost to the American public for all aspects of digestive disease is well over $100 billion per year.   

Do You Need to Cleanse and Detox?

ost cleanse their homes and cars better than their body’s!  Too often omitting cleansing and detox, we seek to overcome constipation, IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), bloating and even colorectal cancer, while seeking more energy and a flatter stomach.


Thousands additionally suffer from weight gain, chronic fatigue, acid reflux, parasites, stomach pain, diverticulitis plus
skin and hair problems and many other common ailments. A major step in eliminating their suffering is to cleanse the body inside.

Those involved in these health challenges have usually tried everything to make the pain and problems go away including laxatives and other drugs, fiber supplements; maybe even colonoscopy or surgeries. But you continue to suffer because you must know the cause and then eliminate the root cause of the misery.

Know the Cause of What Harms Healthy Intestines

A

n effective cleanse and detox program, while removing fecal matter that has accumulated, does much more throughout the entire intestinal tract.  The intestinal tract is essentially a continuous tube 27 feet in length from the mouth to the anus, containing 400 bacteria strains 100 trillion in number and 3 ½ pounds in weight.   Among the various functions of the intestinal tract are:

 

·        Digestion to process, breakdown and deliver nutrients from food into the body including beneficial bacteria.

·        Waste processing after food digestion including, movement and elimination from the body.

·        Drainage and sewer system for the body’s waste produced by the metabolic processes in the body, particularly the organs led by the liver.

·        Disposal system for toxins and heavy metals ingested and absorbed through the lungs, skin, teeth, etc.

·        Immune system defense with 60% plus of the body’s immune cells being located in the intestines for killing of viruses, harmful bacteria, fungi, parasites and other pathogens.

 

Know the Cause of Intestinal Ailments

 

L

et’s seek to know the cause of most intestinal ailments. The fact is most of us have lengthy pieces of nasty fecal matter stuck in our colons comprised of toxins that have built up for months or even years. 

 

The colon is just not designed to contain and store huge amounts of old fecal matter.  Old fecal matter built up in the colon becomes a breeding ground for harmful bacteria and parasites and causes dangerous expansion and distension of the colon.  The walls of the colon then become too thin while at the same time pressing on and compressing other organs in the abdominal cavity.

 

Amazingly, up to 65 pounds of old toxic and poisonous fecal matter has been reported in the bowels, with 10 to 20 pounds not unusual.  Because patients are usually cleansed with purgatives prior to a colonoscopy of fecal matter, herniations of diverticula, lesions and other intestinal problems are too often undetected until a serious medical condition occurs.

 

A clean healthy colon is then an essential component in our detox pipeline, with the liver the primary detoxifying organ of the body, filtering out and neutralizing through enzymatic metabolism the dangerous pharmaceutical and over-the-counter drug residues, heavy metals and chemicals and poisons from the blood.  These items are then eliminated from the body by passing them through the colon via the bile duct. 

 

The danger is if the bile duct is plugged preventing proper and timely flow from the body, everything backs up similar to a stopped up toilet clogged with toilet paper.  This backing up creates excess fungi, bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, blood poisons and drug residuals that when recirculated in the body can result in sickness and disease.

 

These toxin and waste buildups contribute to our feeling constipated, bloated and lethargic without adequate energy. Up to 80% of our energy is diverted to toxin removal when we do not have proper and timely elimination. Unless this debris is removed, the colon is also constantly irritated; too often causing what we call IBS, but the problems don’t stop there! 

 

These accumulated toxins build up, joining fungi and other pathogens, in addition to incomplete digestion, in contributing to stomach pain and constipation. Add fatigue, gas and bloating with headaches and indigestion. And then you get to the most publicized issue of our era - weight gain and a swollen abdomen sometimes called a “big belly.” The list goes on and on.  Note, the colon must be clean and open for toxin removal from other areas of the body to allow needed elimination and to escape contamination from a toxin back-up.

iterally thousands of toxins and chemicals assault us on a daily basis at work, in the home, through the air we breathe, our food and water supply and through the use of pharmaceutical drugs. Did you know U.S. industries manufacture over 6 trillion pounds of 9,000 different chemicals a year that go into our air, water, food and soil, with many going into our bodies thus creating body pollution as never before in history.  In addition, our diets are a major problem as we are eating huge amounts of sugar and processed foods void of nutrients and enzymes and regularly abuse our bodies with various stimulants and sedatives, often ineffective and packed with negative side effects. Exercise lack contributes too.

 

Cleansing Outside and Inside

ost of us have been trained throughout life to the benefits of external body cleansing.  We bathe or shower, brush our teeth and wash our hands and hair regularly; but how completely and often do we cleanse ourselves inside where being clean is equally important than externally to ongoing good health?

 

You need to cleanse and detoxify your body of accumulated toxins, parasites and other fecal matter If you have personally one or more of the following, then it's time to detoxify:

What Does an Effective Detox and Cleanse Program Contain

 

A

n effective detox and cleanse program must cleanse your colon with quality fiber.   Fiber is essential to trap and bind toxins secreted through the bile for removal from the body and must be present in adequate amounts of 40 grams daily in a successful detoxification and cleanse program.  Sadly, the average American now consumes only 10-20 grams of fiber daily.

 

Dietary fiber, including cellulose and hernicellulose, absorbs heavy metals, environmental toxins and digestive waste products from food.  If impurities and toxins are not bound by adequate fiber, they are reabsorbed and recirculate in the body, causing a multitude of health problems.

 

Add enzymes, both digestive and oral systemic, to better break down food and protein for better digestion and to attack inflammation in the blood stream, tissues and muscles; thereby also modifying pain.

 

Cellular nutritional cleansers such as MG Beta 1/3,1/6 Glucan and Milk Thistle and antioxidants including CoEnzyme Q10 can be beneficial in the liver and for nutritionally normalizing the immune cells in the gut.  Herbs such as black walnut and wormwood plus oregano are reputed to aid elimination of unwanted living creatures, joined by fennel and pumpkin or psyllium seeds for cleansing. 

 

Magnesium (400-800 mg/d) softens stools and intestine linings while trace minerals from a deep sea source provide needed elements for proper elimination.  Folic acid (400 mcg/d) and calcium  plus Vitamin B5 are beneficial for constipation. Aloe Vera is excellent for soothing and eliminating microorganisms in the mouth that create sugar cravings.

 

You must also replenish the good bacteria balance in the colon with a probiotic in adequate amounts and form for proper flora balance.  Then the cleanse should go throughout the body to attempt to detoxify including, but not limited to, the blood, lungs, liver, gall bladder, spleen, brain, tissues and intestinal system.  There should also be a goal of  a recharging of the immune response through antioxidants and biological defense modifiers with the sought removal of heavy metals.

Parasites are a Threat to Your Health and are in You Now!

ntestinal parasites are now estimated to be present in 80% of Americans!  That’s right – not a third world underdeveloped nation, but the United States today.  Symptoms of parasite presence include nervousness, moving pain, digestive pain, nausea and diarrhea, itching, acne, foul breath, fatigue and insomnia.

 

Parasites are now a major health concern, particularly in combination with the assault of thousands of toxins and the advent of poor nutrition creating a serious lack of nutrients and enzymes   National Geographic in its award-winning documentary, “The Body Snatchers” told us the startling reality that, "In fact, parasites have killed more humans than all the wars in history."

 

Parasites live on dead and decaying matter such as old fecal matter in the colon. All the toxins and 'dead' processed foods lacking nutrients and enzymes generate poor digestion causing a toxic build-up in the body, including the colon. This toxic waste material in the colon then frequently turns into – according again to National Geographic - "a sinister world of monstrous creatures that feed on living flesh: parasites".  This monster movie is now showing in your body! You don’t want to think about small worms and creatures wreaking havoc in your body, but if you are going to rid yourself of that which is making you miserable you must know the cause to know the enemy within. 

 

Our body’s are a network of cells working together to perform various essential body functions, but If organisms such as parasites can disrupt the chemical signals that allow cellular communication and a defensive immune response necessary to protect us; then parasites can control and even destroy us.   You are in a body war!  Is it not commons sense that you must kill and remove that which seeks to eat you alive now?

 

For proper intestinal health and regularity, diet should include fruits such as apples and bananas, together with lemon juice, prunes and watermelon.  Add cabbage juice, carrots and kelp for a helpful diet with needed fiber.

 

What does an Effective Cleanse and Detox Do? 

A

n effective and safe intestinal cleanse not only cleanses the entire gastrointestinal tract but also returns a damaged system to original condition while stimulating the muscular movement of the colon called peristalsis necessary to move the food through the digestive process without stopping.  Putrefaction is halted while the mucous membrane lining the digestive tract is disinfected and soothed as it returns to normal and healthy function.  Think of a good cleanse and detox program as an intestinal vacuum cleaner removing old fecal matter from the colon walls and bowel pockets. 

 Poisons, toxins, heavy metals such as mercury and lead, in addition to toxic drug residues are removed. Inflammation and irritation of the stomach and intestines is minimized or resolved.  As a side, the negatives of food poisoning or stomach flu (not actually influenza) are usually resolved within two hours by elimination of the toxins and pathogens from the body.  For other organs, the flow of bile is increased to help in cleaning the gall bladder, bile ducts and liver.

Parasites are destroyed and expelled by black walnut and wormwood, with healthy bacteria and flora restored by a probiotic (15 billion CFU or more per serving suggested) with Caprylic Acid (fatty acid) for fungal intrusion; thus nutritionally minimizing or eliminating Candida albicans overgrowth and for nutritionally aiding in process of reestablishing regularity.

For those with sensitive systems or a detox kit to alternate with others is a homeopathic cleanse and detox.  Homeopathics suggested are Lymphomyosot to stimulate the lymphatic system, nux vomica for the gastro-intestinal pathway and liver function and berbiris to stimulate kidney and gallbladder function. A Farr infrared sauna is an excellent and safe source for toxin removal, particularly plastics and drug residue and lymphatic stimulation without excessive heat on teeth and eyes.

Negatives to a Detox and Cleanse Program

ecause you are eliminating built up fecal matter and excess toxins, there may be some initial gas and bloating until the system is cleared and reestablished to normalcy.  Some also experience muscular movement as the muscles return to a proper function and occasional cramping and aching occur, but are minimal if using quality cleanse and detox ingredients.

The gas and bloating of the bowels after a cleanse and detox are similar to the smoking and backfiring of a car that hasn’t been started in several years.  After the initial period, both the car and your bowels will settle down and perform without negatives.
